Breakthrough Golf Technology Unveils the Paradox Putter: The World's Only Zero Torque Putter with Swing Balance

Innovative Principal Axis Alignment Reduces Rotation for Unprecedented Consistency and Distance Control

Breakthrough Golf Technology (BGT) is redefining putting performance with its new Paradox putter, which it calls the only zero torque putter engineered with Swing Balance Technology.

While most zero torque designs align the centre of gravity under the shaft, the Paradox uses a dynamic Principal Axis alignment. By positioning weight low in the heel and high in the toe, it aligns with the golfer’s natural stroke—like a wheel alignment on a car—to reduce unwanted rotation and improve consistency.

In testing, BGT observed more made putts, missed putts finishing 10% closer to the hole, and a ball that achieved a true roll 20% faster. The weighting also promotes consistent centre contact for superior distance control.

“Paradox locks in centre strikes, so you’re dialling in distance control with every roll. Because in putting, nothing matters more,” said Barney Adams, CEO of Breakthrough Golf.

The Paradox Putter is offered in blade (355g) and fang mallet (365g) designs. It features a CNC-milled aluminium frame with steel weights and a precision-milled face. It is centre-shafted to promote a straight-back, straight-through stroke and comes with a midsize non-taper grip.

Adjustable loft and lie options are available, with 3° loft and 70° lie as standard. It is available in 33, 34 and 35-inch shaft options, with a choice of a standard graphite shaft or BGT’s Stability Tour Shaft, which dramatically reduces torque and minimises shaft deflection.

The RRP is £499/€585 with a standard graphite shaft, or £699/€820 with the Stability Tour Shaft.
