Chip & Run, using the clock face

Controlling the length and tempo of a swing, while not trying to hit the ball very far, is very hard for golfers to achieve especially in the outset. The tempo in any swing is the glue that holds the swing and shape of swing together. But, in short game controlling the length of swing combined with tempo is essential for consistent shots.....

In the small video below your notice the golfer swinging back and forth in lower quarter of the swing. You could almost say that if the golfer was starting at the number 6 has though your looking at a clock. He then swings back between minimum 7 to 5 Max 8 to 4

The skill of course is to be able vary the length and speed of the swing to give you optimum length in the shot...
